Fretting the Small Stuff

Hey everyone, 

Andrea recently sent me a questionairre (do you sleep naked, married, favorite ice cream) and it turned out she liked one of my answers so much that she asked me to join her blog. The question was do you own dice?  My answer:  Yes - you never know when you might need to make some quick cash playing craps.  It's true, I don't make a lot of money and I've got to take my opportunities when they arise. I thought she might have been concerned about my answer to the question "how many times have you been pulled over by the cops" - 8 - but I guess that doesn't bother her.

Anyway, I guess it also helps that I'm her brother.  I'm in the middle between Sistah, not to be confused with Sister Souljah, and Andrea.  Do you have a blog name Andrea?  I picked Fretfingers because when I first heard about your blog I thought it was about small guitars. I also told her I was good at fretting the small stuff, both the worrying and guitar kind. 

A little bit about me:  I'm a musician and I work at a non-profit. I'm married to Chickibebe, who's a painter, sculptor, puppet maker and actress. We have four short people who think they control the house.  We clutterists, we live in an artists co-operative and we un-school our kids.  fretfingers...

Searching for the Truth

Me too, I feel fine but have some serious gas too.  Wait, gad?  Does the Searcher of Truth mean God?  They feel fine but they have god.  Is God stalking them (Trademark - Doin Time in Erie, PA)?  Perhaps a restraining order is needed?

Yes, I am the expert on designer dogs.  I can answer all your questions about Miniature Dachdanes and St. Chihuanards.

Ohhhh!  Ohhh!!  I know this one!  I have one!  He's awesome!  He's three legged!

Are we looking for eyelashes on a snake or Jeff Corwin?  I'm confused - shocking, I know.  Or is this a euphemism for something the  Biggest Prude of the East doesn't know about?  Certainly a possibility!

5.  amanda beard at ymca

Yeah, we totally share lanes and I give her tips on how to do flip turns crooked and  a foot short of the wall.  We are total BFFs.

Again, is this a euphemism?   Because I really am that naive.   

7.  "had to pee" diaper

Hahahahahaha!  Typically, if you have to pee and you are wearing a diaper, that is the place to go!  I am also laughing because it actually directed the Searcher of Truth to my sister's post!

8. small cavity filled without novocaine

DO IT!  I did.  So can you!  Just send me five easy payments of $199.99 and I can tell you how to have a cavity filled without the help of analgesics!

9. dentist cavity

It's okay if you are a dentist and have a cavity.  Dentists are human too.  They bleed, they cry, and their teeth rot too.

10. denied health insurance because of anxiety attack

And that is why we need to vote a democrat into the presidential office!

11. kicking at air

Only do it when supervised by a licensed professional.

12. What happened to the Fourth and Towne curvy jeans?

I love that they posed this query in the form of a question.  It delights me to no end.  Well, dear Searcher of Truth, the jeans were killed in a tragic saw mill accident and all that was left were the shiny copper buttons.

No you aren't!  Buck up little camper.  Put on those goggles and jump right in the water.  We aren't laughing at you...much.

In my previous post, I mentioned PG.  She is a fellow attorney friend with whom I've been working out.  PG stands for Party Girl.  I do not have children...yet.  That is another post for another time.  Let's just say we, The Prof and I, hope to start the partying, I mean, trying to for children soon!
